We hebben een heel fijn verblijf gehad in deze prachtige Airbnb. Alles wat je nodig hebt is aanwezig! De locatie was daarnaast ontzettend centraal en op loopafstand van de supermarkt, mooie miradouro’s en andere bezienswaardigheden. Enige minpunt was dat de buurt in de avonduren niet altijd even veilig voelde, maar dit hadden we van tevoren online gelezen en er daarom hebben wij ervoor gekozen om ‘s avonds met de Uber te gaan. Tot slot vonden wij Lourenco een ontzettend vriendelijke host met snelle en behulpzame communicatie. Wij hebben een top verblijf gehad!

Close to the city. Great for a short stay as doesn't have a huge number of amenities to be self catered. Nice space with fair amount of room. Hosts were very responsive with communication.

Lourenco’s property matches the description (and photos), its easily accessible and in a secure neighborhood. All amenities worked perfectly - and the heaters in both the sitting area and bedroom were very resourceful because i traveled during the cold season. The hosts were very responsive to my requests and also accommodated my early check-in request. The list of activities the host shared were also very helpful in exploring the city- a good list with many options depending on what one is interested in . It is a good spot for both a single traveler and a couple. It really felt like a home for me. Would definitely book it again.

The place was great, looked exactly like the photos. We had read previous reviews about safety but the accommodation was private and felt secure. Very close to the metro and easy to get everywhere. Would definitely recommend!

We had a lovely stay in this Airbnb! Walking distance (uphill though) from the metro station & the city centre. It was a clean and spacious appt. The host is super friendly and reactive.

The apartment was clean and comfy, a great place to stay! The location is convenient although I wouldn't recommend the area for a solo female traveller as the other reviews mention, we had no issues though. Any problems were resolved quickly by Lourenco & Teresa, would recommend :)

Ons verblijf in het appartement van Lourenco was zeer aangenaam. Het was een modern en gezellig appartement en had alles wat we nodig hadden. Het inchecken verliep zeer vlot, we kregen op voorhand codes om ons appartement binnen te kunnen. De locatie was in een rustige straat op een klein pleintje, wat verder weg van de drukte maar nog steeds op wandelafstand van het levendige centrum. Zeker een aanrader!

Nice apartment, well equipped and tidy. They were happy to provide a high chair and travel cot for our one year old which was great. The area the apartment itself is in isn't far at all from some touristy areas however the streets immediately surrounding the apartment could not be described as touristy. My wife said that if she was with female friends she would have felt uncomfortable in this area due to the number of single men drinking in the street at all hours. I will say that none of them even approached us, it's just a feeling she got. As for Lisbon as a city it seems great but if travelling with a baby or toddler there is no point bringing a pushchair if you are staying in this area. Be prepared for lots of carrying. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you.

El apartamento está muy bien. La ubicación es céntrica y cercana a los transportes esenciales: metro, tranvía, estación de tren. También caminando se llega a las zonas principales del centro. Pero deben saber que está en el barrio de la mourería, y sus habitantes son trabajadores inmigrantes. Se ven muchos hombres solos, que se agrupan por las calles, y puede dar sensación de inseguridad, pero no vimos nada raro. Sabiendo eso, te acostumbras, y enseguida se sale a otro ambiente de las calles cercanas del centro. Si van a ir solo chicas, hay que tenerlo en cuenta, porque pueden sentirse incómodas con eso. En cuanto al apartamento está muy bien. Moderno y cómodo. No tiene microondas, que hubiera sido útil. La cama muy cómoda y la ducha con presión en el agua. Otra cosa a tener en cuenta es que para llegar hay que subir cuesta arriba por calles con aceras estrechas y con bastantes escalones, pero todo Lisboa está lleno de calles así. Hay que tenerlo en cuenta para el equipaje.

The stay at Lourencos apt was exactly as described. Comfortable bed and pillows with extra blankets, perfect. Location was quiet and very accessible. He was the perfect host with recommendations for restaurants and things to do in area and he or Mafalda would always get right back to us if we had a question. Plus the fact that getting off a cruise ship at 10:30 Mafalda told us we could leave our bags which was a great convenience. My husband and I are seniors and we did need some extra instructions on how to use some of the things in the apartment. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Lisbon.

Lourenço's place is great! Considerably larger than expected for being in such a central location. Very clean throughout. Kitchen well stocked with good quality cookware, cooking utensils, plates and glasses, etc. All appliances in good working order. The living room furniture is comfortable and I especially liked the lighting--overhead lights that can make the room bright and lamps that are stylish and set a nice mood. The bedroom, though not spacious, is adequate, is well lit and has lots of storage. The bathroom was very clean and also has plenty of storage space. Water pressure excellent The location, Mouraria, is great. From there you can descend in one direction to Alfama, another toward Martim Moniz, Rossio, Baixa-Chado and beyond, and in another ascend to Graça. Lastly, an emphatic shout out to Sergio, the driver, arranged by Lourenço, who met us at the airport and drove us back at a VERY early hour. His warmth, cheer, and love of his city were wonderful to experience.

Het appartement is heel schoon en alles is aanwezig, de communicatie met de (co-)host was wat minder. De wijk waar het appartement zich bevindt is niet heel gezellig. Er hangen veel mensen op straat. Dit is op zich geen probleem, maar wel goed om rekening mee te houden als je alleen gaat of met kinderen. Je bent snel in het centrum van de stad. Het metrostation zit dichtbij.

Lourenço et Mafalda possèdent un très bel appartement cosy et bien équipé. L’appartement était propre et fonctionnel. Il est situé à moins de 5 minutes du métro Martim Moniz. Il est bien placé entre les quartiers de Baixa/Chiado et l’Afalma. Vous serez au calme dans l’appartement. Les hôtes vous écrivent régulièrement pour connaître vos besoins et vous donnent également des recommandations dans le quartier. Ils sont également très réactifs quand nous avons rencontré un problème avec la porte. Je vous recommande cet appartement pour votre séjour à Lisbonne !

We had a really great stay at Luorenco’s and Mafalda’s place, we would highly recommend this place to anyone. The Airbnb was exactly as what is shown in the pictures and as described. It was spacious, clean and comfy, and it had everything and more than what we needed. Our hosts were also very responsive and helpful, thank you for having us! We hope to visit again soon ❤️

Lourenco’s place was wonderful, very secure and close to everything. Kitchen was nicely stocked. Water pressure was fabulous and the bed super comfortable. Helpful suggestion to future renters - if you see a really long escalator down in towards town take that up and it will get you really close to the apartment and avoid a bunch of the hills.

A very modern clean and welcoming place. Really enjoyed our stay here. Host was very responsive, easy to understand instructions and very flexible. Apartment is bigger than it looks in the photos. Fitted with modern appliances and spotless. Very convenient location near to everything including metro and walking distance to restaurants and bars.

Great apartment in a very central location. Very steep hills! But very walkable and close to some beautiful viewpoints. Hosts are amazingly responsive and helpful. We travelled with our 1-year-old and felt very comfortable in this apartment.

Had an incredible stay at Lourenco’s flat. The Airbnb we stayed at before we arrived was tragic, so this stay was a wonderful and welcome change. There is lots of room at Lourenco’s apartment, the bed is comfy, everything is pristinely clean, and the air conditioning was lovely on a hot Lisbon day! We enjoyed the Nespresso machine in the mornings too! Thank you!

Lourenço und Mafalda sind großartige Gastgeber. Alle unsere Wünsche und Fragen wurden auf Anhieb erfüllt und beantwortet, sodass uns ein angenehmer Aufenthalt in Lissabon ermöglicht wurde. Die Wohnung war stilvoll eingerichtet und sauber. Lourenço hat uns Tipps gegeben, was wir in der Stadt unternehmen können und beide Gastgeber waren sehr zuvorkommend und höflich. Wenn ihr das hier lest, möchte ich mich noch einmal herzlich bedanken. Das nächste Mal, wenn wir Lissabon besuchen, werden wir wieder diesen Airbnb buchen. :)

Très beau séjour. Bel appartement très propre. Tout est accessible à pied en moins de 30 minutes. Quartier tranquille. Réponse rapide des hôtes durant notre séjour lorsque nous avions besoin de quelque chose. Nous avons pu déposer nos bagages plus tôt (11h) que l’heure prévue du « Check-in » (15h) ce qui a été très pratique compte tenu de notre vol d’arrivé qui était très tôt. Une option payante à proximité nous a été proposée si nous arrivions encore plus tôt car pas d’option de dépôt de bagages dans le bâtiment.

El barrio es seguro, está en el centro de Lisboa, todo son cuestas, escaleras, pero llegamos con Bolt y sin ningún problema, después de eso caminamos a todos los distintos barrios de la Lisboa más turística. Lourenço nos mandó muchas recomendaciones, Mafalda nos dejó una cuna y una silla alta para que comiera nuestro bebé. La limpieza es genial, los acabados del apartamento son muy buenos, todos los detalles, menaje de cocina, lavavajillas, cama enorme y sofá cama enorme también. El apartamento se nota que ha sido renovado con mucho gusto, el edificio tiene acceso digital y se siente muy seguro.

Lourenco was an amazing host and our overall stay with him was great. Upon our first arrival he gave clear instructions on how to get into the apartment, the place itself was super clean and modern and we felt comfortable and safe. Louranco was always extremely responsive and helpful, he gave lots of recommendations on what to eat, where to go and checked in with us in order to make sure we had everything. He really wanted us to have a great experience in Lisbon! The place itself is very central and minutes from the metro station. Grocery shops like Amanhecer, Pingo Doce or Lidl are close by and easy to reach. I‘d def recommend staying with Lourenco if you plan to visit Lisbon!

We’d read a few reviews (mostly all great by the way!) about location of the apartment etc but let me say we could not have been happier! The location was great and really gave a sense of the character around the neighborhood. The apartment itself was flawless and Lourenco let us know everything we needed before check in. We also appreciated all the recommendations he gave while we were in Lisbon. Location was perfect and we walked everywhere, it’s the only way to see the real Lisbon. We loved it and would recommend the place to anybody wishing to visit. Thanks again Lourenco and Mafalda!

Gerne wieder :) Das Apartment war sehr sauber uns bot sehr viel Platz. Es war genau wie beschrieben. Man fühlte sich bei dem Elektronischen System sehr sicher. Besonders gefiel uns auch der flexible Check in. Wir fühlten uns gleich wie zu Hause und haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Unser Gastgeber hat uns gleich zu Anfang verschiedene Restaurants, Bars und Clubs empfohlen, was sehr hilfreich war. Besonders gut war auch die Empfehlung für die Koffer Aufbewahrung, die sich nicht weit von unserer Wohnung befindet. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral, wir konnten vieles fußläufig erreichen. Das einzige Manko an der Wohnung ist die etwas zu kurze Duschwand. Wir bedanken uns für den tollen Aufenthalt und können die Wohnung getrost weiter empfehlen. Wir würden sie noch einmal buchen durchlesen

We could not have been more pleased with this location- Far more spacious than it appears in photos with great closet space. The owners couldn’t have been more thoughtful or classy in every detail. Visually pleasing, calm, and quiet, we also appreciated their suggestions from restaurants to a wonderful tour guide (Tiago) that they arranged to give us a personal tour of Sintra at the same cost of booking a group- with far less hassle. Don’t be put off by it being a working class neighborhood without nightlife. What surprised us the most was how fast and easy it was to get an Uber to pick us up and take us anywhere. No need to reserve. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Can’t recommend enough! Incredible location, and it’s a nice quiet get away. Very responsive host, and was very open to letting me book last minute due to flight complications. Will be staying here next visit! (Note- the hills are no joke! Take your time)

Hôte réactif, arrangeant et donnant de très bons conseils ! L'appartement est très bien, avec un très bon rapport qualité prix. Nous avons pour un autre logement situé à quelques mètres payé beaucoup plus cher avec des prestations de moins bonnes qualités. Je vous recommande vivement ce logement, facile d'accès avec ascenseur et situé dans un quartier très bien desservi (Gare Martim Moniz situés à quelques minutes à pieds). Merci aux hôtes pour leur accueil !

Lourenco’s Airbnb is exactly as described. The location was very walkable to the center of the city and close to great restaurants. There are also some great viewpoints in the area. I would recommend this listing if you are trying to get away from the busy city center while still being able to access all that Lisbon has to offer.

Lourenço war ein super Gastgeber, immer zu erreichen und hat uns einige Tipps für Lissabon gegeben. Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet, war sauber und durchaus geräumig. Man sollte bei der Lage beachten, dass sich die Wohnung im multikulturellen Stadtteil Mouraria befindet, der zwar sehr spannend ist, aber vor allem sehr schmale Gassen und viele Einbahnstraßen hat. Unsere Tour mit dem Auto war abenteuerlich. Lourenço bietet aber auch gegen Aufpreis eine Garage, die ratsam ist.

Nous avons passé un super séjour à Lisbonne, ce logement correspondait en tous points aux photos. Il est grand et magnifique ! Nous avons bien pu profiter de la ville, très accessible depuis le logement et aussi se reposer au calme dans un lit très confortable ! Nous recommandons ce logement et espérons revenir un jour.
